Sports-Minded Outside Sales Rep-Tech Start Up

Outgoing, former athletes with sales experience encourages to apply!

The Outside Sales Rep will work closely with their dedicated account manager to bring the Snap! Fundraising Platform to groups across the region. An emphasis is placed on creating face to face relationships with the groups/ accounts that the successful candidate will be working with. Strong interpersonal skills are a must along with a passion for team based athletics. This is a great opportunity for someone with 2-3 years sales experience to jump into. We are looking for a self motivated passionate individual who is goal oriented, results driven, and ready to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage an assigned dedicated territory
  • Be confident in setting up your owns meetings, and cold-call/emailing potential customers
  • Handle inbound email and phone requests from new groups signing up with Snap!'s platform.
  • Communicate with coaches, athletes and parent groups on a daily basis
  • Act as the initial point of contact for all three areas of the sales process -- prospecting, qualification and closing
  • Account planning and lead generation with channel partners over the in person, phone and email
  • Travel to schools in your territory (must have own transportation)
  • Manage leads in CRM and keep clients updated

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Preferred with Sales experience
  • A passion for athletics, people and comfort with being on the phone and working with customers
  • Attention to Detail is extremely important, with the ability to effectively manage multiple deadlines and follow up with customers.
  • Must have outstanding communication skills. Excellent planning and organizational skills, and love talking to people every day.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

This is a full time 40 + hours a week position
