Job description

As part of a global organic growth initiative, UAF is expanding its field sales and technical talent. We have an opening for field based professional who will have full accountability for the company’s end user site survey program. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with industrial / electronics experience, have a high degree of mechanical aptitude, and embrace a solution-oriented approach to solving problems and delivering growth. The candidate will interface regularly with customers and technician to understand site IT and system equipment to understand technical filtration solutions. This role has the career path leading to a regional sales role. This is a home-office position requiring self-reliance to work directly with customers and drive project independently.

Job Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Highly motivated individual with experience in identifying new opportunities, prospecting and generating sales growth with end user accounts.
  • Continued development of the site survey program leading to sales revenue growth above budgeted numbers. Activities include prospecting, scheduling, execution, and site survey follow-up to drive aftermarket growth.
  • Able to distinguish a wide range of similar technology and products, with high attention to detail while doing inventory of the site.
  • Strong inclination to interest in how the internet and devices work.
  • Ability to work with outside sales team to coordinate and conduct all customer requested site surveys and other customer support on-site activities as necessary.
  • Required to work closely with in-house marketing personnel to leverage outbound messaging, online advertising and e-commerce offerings in order to drive higher visitor engagement and conversion through uaf.com.
  • Participate in industry trade shows.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Aftermarket

Target accounts include:

  • Telco End Users: Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Ericsson Services, CenturyLink
  • Telco Tier Two/Three End Users and Distributors
  • Cable End Users: Comcast, Time-Warner, Charter, etc.
  • Utilities/transportation/Metro Authorities
