The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for meeting and exceeding overall sales objectives while ensuring a high level of customer service when promoting TPC products and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Works with the Regional Manager on sales opportunities to drive business performance and support key business strategies
• Effectively communicate the features, advantages and benefits of TPC products within an industrial environment
• Develop a territory management plan to maximize time with customers and drive new sales within an assigned territory
• Develop existing accounts and drive new business sales
• Forecast future revenue, business development opportunities and market trends within your territory
• Promote the TPC value proposition to potential customers, distribution partners and industry leaders
• Work with inside sales team to maximize customer value in assigned territory
• Other duties as assigned
Experience
Required
• 5+ years outside sales experience
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales objectives
• Strong communication, organizational and time management skills
• Ability to sell cost value vs pricing
• Must be able to work remote
• Ability to embrace change
• Must be willing to travel 20%
Preferred
• Previous experience managing a geographic sales territory
• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications or related degree
• Previous industrial wire & cable sales experience
