Job Description Jasper Engines and Transmissions is the nation’s leading supplier of premium replacement drivetrain products (engines, transmissions, differentials, etc.) Our many years of industry experience and consistent growth in the automotive industry have positioned our company as the Gold Standard in the industry. We are seeking an experienced sales representative to grow business through value-added relationships with customers in the Portland to Olympia area. This position involves calling on independent repair facilities, local fleets, city and government locations, marinas, and large national accounts. Our goal is to be the company of choice in the automotive industry. To accomplish this we want to ensure you are successful in a long-term career with Jasper Engines. We offer a competitive base salary with bonus and a fast track to commission and other benefits. As an outside sales representative, you will also be paired with a mentor who is a senior member of your team to help guide you through the Jasper system of selling to ensure your success. We value continuous training and career development; therefore, both technical and sales training are also provided. Responsibilities include: -Utilize a proven system of selling with supportive marketing materials. -Develop and implement plans to take advantage of all sales opportunities for assigned customers in territory. -Ability to handle small business owners and regional fleet managers of large world-wide fleets -Effectively perform needs assessments, develop sales proposals, and presentations. -Comfortable working with cross-functional teams (inside sales, warranty, production, distribution) to ensure customer success. -Strategic account planning and management. -Introduce new products and technical updates to customers. -Develop and build long-term value-based relationships. -Strong focus on prospecting and business growth Location Portland 37 - Portland, OR US (Primary) Job Type Full-time Shift Type Education Some College or Industry Experience Preferred Apply
