Regional Outside Sales Representative - San Diego area

An international manufacturer of premier linear bearings is in need of an experienced Regional Outside Sales Representative. Ideal candidates offer an extensive Sales background in linear bearings, needle bearings, power transmission, and/or machine parts experience. They must also possess natural interpersonal skills.

Position Title: Regional Outside Sales Representative – San Diego area
Position Type: Full-time
Location: San Diego, CA
Salary: $65 - 80K (DOE) /year plus Bonus (Performance-based)
Work Hours: M-F 8:30am – 5:00pm
FLSA Status: Exempt

Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for all sales activities with service accounts, which include OEM companies and product distributors
• Service existing clients by maintaining satisfaction and strengthening relationships
• Continuous development of new accounts
• Meet and exceed sales quotas
• Provide engaging product presentations and customer assistance
• Provide concise, weekly sales reports
• Provide other on-time reports at Supervisor’s request
• Some over-night travel is required
• Operations and handling of various national trade shows is required
• Assist inside sales staff when needed

Requirements:
• At Least 7 years of Sales experience in Industrial Machine Parts industry is a must.
• Linear bearing, needle bearing and/or power transmission experience is a strongly preferred
• Must be familiar with the geography of the assigned territory
• Frequent travel is required (Company car and cell phone will be provided)
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent presentation and time management skills
• Basic computer skills
• Valid Driver License with clean driving record
