Job description

Position Summary: Responsible for providing customer response and support services for sales and engineering functions. Coordinate the organization, integration and completion of customer projects, launches and product changes.

Requirements

· A degree is preferably in a field that offers an opportunity to gain a well-rounded background. (If not available can be defined based on experience in the field).

· Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools.

· Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.

· Advanced verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to analyze comprehensive processes, perform in-depth work analyses.

· Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions.

· Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively in a team environment.

· Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.

· Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals.

· Ability to develop project budgets and projections.

· Previous experience in plastic injection molding (automotive) required.

Responsibilities

· Consults and reviews with management project proposals to determine time frame, limitations, procedures for accomplishing the project, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project.

· Develops project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans and allotment of resources for each phase of the project.

· Responsible for handling / overseeing more than one project at a time depending on scope of work of each project.

· Coordinates all departments and prepares scope of work (needs analysis) based on solution needed by customer.

· Study projects, both new and ongoing, for complete optimization.

· Formulates and defines technical scope and objectives of project for project personnel.

· Present and implement process improvements.

· Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.

· Assigns duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project personnel.

· Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule.

· Establishes standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.

· Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules and plans as required.

· Prepares project status reports and keeps management, clients, and others informed of project status and related issues.

· Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve problems.

· Coordinates and responds to request for changes from original specifications.

· Monitors project results against technical specifications.

· Develops and maintains technical and project documentation.

· Develops application /solution test plans for the project.

· Obtain, through customer satisfaction and acceptance testing, project signoff of completion.
