Six Months Contract Position x 2 roles - 10 years + FERC Project Management
This role is primarily responsible for performing and supporting environmental tasks related to capital development projects, that includes FERC pre-filing and filing applications, environmental permitting and notifications, and construction management in support of LNG and pipeline operations.
Candidates must be familiar with FERC Section 3 and Section 7 requirements, environmental designs and specifications, and environmental permitting and notification requirements to design and construct LNG and pipeline facilities. A strong understanding of applicable Federal, state, and local environmental laws, regulations, codes, and standards is also essential.
The role includes preparation of proposals, FERC filings, resource reports, tribal consultations, implementation plans, and other NEPA documentation. The successful candidate/s will work closely with engineering and construction teams to identify environmental permit and project design requirements during all aspects of project development, while also supporting environmental permitting aspects of project development, including USACE permitting, CWA permitting, USFWS and SHPO consultations, and environmental activities.
Candidates must possess exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, and have recent in-depth knowledge of permitting and development aspects of large-scale energy projects. Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills are also essential.
