The Role:

We are looking for a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading various projects that come into Live Nation’s ISPMO (Information Security Project Management Office).  Our Project Managers work on a variety of projects from functional to technical, and projects vary in size and scope.  Specific tasks on each project will include developing project plans and schedules, managing tasks and teams on the project’s critical path, communicating with stakeholders, identifying and resolving issues, mitigating risks, and managing the overall success of the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing multiple IT projects concurrently
  • Manage and prioritize business requirements from appropriate stakeholders, translate the requirements into scope and implementations plans, identify issues, risks, roles and responsibilities
  • Work with business and technology teams to define and implement new projects
  • Provide single point of contact for our business partners on assigned projects. Monitor status and quickly resolve issues throughout the process. Report on progress and communicate important information to all business partners and stakeholders
  • Manage and lead internal and external resources, creatively solving problems and coordinating issue resolution. Develop and maintain network of resources
  • Assure quality and integrity of projects, based on comprehensive testing of solution and attention to detail
  • Maintain excellent communication with all levels of management, be responsive to customers, and provide appropriate mentoring, training and cross-training to other team members
  • Track metrics and measure performance. Measure and monitor progress against goals
  • Help define process improvements and feedback for large, multi-part projects that need creative project management strategies required for timely execution.
  • Responsible for scope control with stakeholders, task execution with the team, and relevant upward communication to managers

Qualifications:    

  • Bachelors degree in IT, or Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
  • 5-7 years of experience managing projects in an IT environment
  • PMP preferred
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) a plus
  • Demonstrated functional project management proficiency
  • Experience with managing IT and operational projects
  • Demonstrated proficiency authoring project plans, gathering business requirements, meeting deadlines, tracking issues and risks, and managing successful projects
  • Cloud Systems experience a plus (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.)
  • Exposure to Agile, Lean, and Scrum methodologies a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as a team

Interpersonal:

  • Flexibility that allows effective teamwork with people at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with both business and IT people
  • Ability to negotiate for competing resources and to generate consensus among multiple priorities
  • Develops and establishes business relationships and partnerships with internal and external team members

Motivation:

  • Desire to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking, fluid environment with ever-changing priorities
  • Interest in staying involved with fast-changing Information technologies and tools
  • Self-learner

Technical Experience:

  • Web technologies is preferred
  • Cloud technologies is preferred
  • Network operations and administration is a plus
  • Experience with relational databases and network operating systems is a plus
  • Information Security practices, systems, and tools a plus
  • Microsoft Office, including MS Project
  • Jira and Confluence knowledge a plus
