Goals:

As new park development manager, you will have the overall responsibility to build and maintain franchise partner relationships while driving the new park openings process to achieve openings/operating month’s targets. You will lead the development cycle to ensure all functions (e.g. – real estate, design, court construction, training, to opening support teams) meet their respective targets, while being the point contact accountable for timelines, communications and objectives throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and communicate the Sky Zone Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
  • Develop strong, trusting, and respectful partnership with the Home Zone Team, Franchise Partners and Vendors.
  • Absorb & Radiate the Sky Zone culture and commitment to WoW
  • Actively engage with all project functions that impact the new park development process to ensure they (functions/individuals) meet timelines. This includes other Home Zone departments, Vendors and Franchise Partners.
  • Diagnose challenges that impact park development timelines and work to quickly to develop solutions through partnerships with appropriate department heads.
  • Monitor and report on progress of all new park development activities weekly, monthly
  • Facilitate day-t0-day relationships with Franchise Partners during New Park Development through WoW Opening process.
  • Collect, analyze and extrapolate information collected about time + cost of processes/projects. Record and store information for later review.
  • Coordinate and communicate to all new park development projects to ensure there is alignment on opening parks with focus on time and budget.
  • Field day to day project related inquiries and escalations from Home Zone Team and Franchise Partners. Escalate if necessary.
  • Manage project requirements, activities, budgets, resources, schedules and risks
  • Utilize PM tools to facilitate managing all project information including scope, assumptions, tasks, resource allocation, project tracking, risks, issues and prioritization.
  • Travel: 10%

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience

• 5+ years of experience of project management based experience

• 5+ years of retail/hospitality location based operations experience

• Strong leadership, influencing and communication skills with ability to interact, influence and align with all levels of the organization, both internal and external

• Experience managing large scale projects and team on budget.

• Highly motivated and collaborative with a willingness to learn

• Proactive and forward looking.

• Outgoing friendly attitude with excitement to go the extra mile.

• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
