Position Title:



 



NG911 GEMMA Project Manager



 



 



Location:



 



Western States (Pacific Time Zone) preferred, or remote (CONUS) with ability to travel up to 25%



 



 



Position Description:



 



GEMMA, Atos’ NG911 call handling solution, was one of several products awarded the opportunity to sell into the 450 PSAPs in the State of California. The overall program includes the initial setup of GEMMA in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), then being deployed at each PSAP customer.



 



This position is the senior project manager overseeing the core solution stand-up and each subsequent deployment, including end-user training and operational transition. The position will report into the overall CalOES Program Director.



 



 



Core Responsibilities:



 




  • Work in conjunction with Atos Staging team to manage the initial GEMMA hosted instance set-up

  • Plan for individual PSAP deployments, including staffing, task assignments and scheduling

  • Manage all aspects of PSAP deployments, including local requirements definition, solution configuration, user training & support, test & readiness and operational cut-over

  • Successfully deliver each PSAP deployment within schedule and budget, and with high customer satisfaction



 



 



Minimum Qualifications:



 




  • 911 (PSAP) call handling experience – operations, workflow and use of technology

  • 911 (PSAP) call handling deployment experience

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities/customers

  • Advanced project/task planning and scheduling skills

  • Effective communications – written and verbal, including in stressful situations

  • Leadership presence

  • Highly motivated, self-starting with a keen attention to details

  • Ability to travel to customer locations as necessary (25%)



 



 



Preferred Qualifications:



 




  • Experience with SaaS solutions and deployment

  • Existing 911 relationships within California

  • Large project experience

  • Understanding of NENA i3 requirements

  • Experience with competitive solutions, including Vesta and Viper
