Project Manager- FinTech

InvestCloud is looking for dynamic and accomplished individuals seeking to expand personal knowledge and expertise in project management. This position is appropriate for self-starters with strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as excellent command of project management approaches and a strong sense of ownership. The ideal candidate will have experience in the field and be highly capable of quickly mastering new key concepts.

Responsibilities

• Work with strategic clients from project initiation to support hand-off

• Understand Technical and Business components of complex financial system projects

• Break down projects into milestones, deliverables and activities

• Facilitate design, functional, budgetary and delivery signoffs with clients

• Deliver quality agreed-upon products within committed timeframes

• Focus on delivering value for clients using agile methodologies

• Enforce quality of deliverables within organization

• Manage resources effectively across competing projects and priorities

• Manage scope and change rigorously

• Leverage subject matter experts relentlessly to determine the optimal delivery approach

• Work with Delivery Managers and Project Coordinator to slot resources to activities

• Create and distribute relevant project status reports detailing objectives, tasks, accomplishments, concerns, action steps and budgetary details

  • Prepare weekly client-facing status reports

  • Prepare weekly internal status reports

  • Report weekly cross-project KPIs to divisional leadership

  • Consistent upkeep of utilization and output forecasts

What We Look For

• Experienced Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years experience in the financial services or consulting industries

• Demonstrated knowledge of industry: portfolio accounting, financial market data and systems, performance calculations, trading and accounting platforms

• Expertise with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• PMP preferred

• Team player

• Tech-savvy

• Excellent communicator

• Excellent presentation skills and strong negotiation skills

• Superior time management skills

• Proven track record of strong scope and change control

• Ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism
