Tenderloin Housing Clinic (THC) is looking for Project Manager who wants to be part of an organization that positively changes lives!

Located in the Tenderloin neighborhood of San Francisco

ABOUT THC: THC provides supportive housing to formerly homeless single adults, many of which have mental health, medical and/or substance abuse issues. We believe in Housing First -- essentially that a homeless person's first and primary need is for a roof over their head. Other issues that may affect them, and that might affect their housing, can more easily be addressed after they are housed. In other words, everyone has a right to a home, regardless of any other issues they might face.

The Project Manager ensures the SalesForce platform improves program management processes and performance, and increases operational efficiency for the agency. The Project Manager is responsible for orchestrating database research, development, implementation, and training for the entire agency, ensuring that our solutions meet the evolving needs of the organization. This position supervises the Salesforce Administrator. All work is executed in accordance with Tenderloin Housing Clinic's (THC) Mission, Core Values, and Customer Service Philosophy.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Leadership and Management

  • Hire, train, direct, supervise, develop, evaluate, and performance manage the daily activities of staff in accordance with THC policies and directives.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled meetings, supervisions, and trainings to motivate staff for success, promote team building, create professional and technical skill development, and establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ensure staff are aware of and correctly implement all safety rules and regulations, and all policies and procedures.
  • Hold staff accountable for high levels of performance, team work, and quality customer service.
  • Provide leadership and project direction that engender trust and respect.
  • Participate in the leadership activities of the department's management team.

Administration and Operations

  • Work with the Deputy Director to foster project development and achieve targeted objectives and outcomes.
  • Attend, participate in, and facilitate all meetings, as requested.
  • Monitor and track Basecamp conversations to ensure all tasks are moving forward.
  • Oversee the Salesforce Project budget, track spending, and provide updates to the Deputy Director.

Database Project Management

  • Play the central leadership and decision-making role in ensuring that the Salesforce database is configured to meet the ongoing needs of the agency.
  • Plan, oversee, and document all phases and aspects of database projects. Ensure the database projects are on schedule.
  • Serve as the primary point person for the agency's Salesforce consultant, vendors, and THC staff in the development of the THC Salesforce database; serve as the agency's lead person on all aspects of information gathering, organizing, and synthesis, documentation, communication, tracking, demos, and testing.
  • Work collaboratively with all departments to identify new and/or improved functionality to optimize systems, streamline processes, achieve operational efficiency, and meet programmatic needs.
  • Support reporting and compliance needs of the organization in both report generation and Salesforce configuration.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for additional performance measurement systems.
  • Make database project recommendations to the Deputy Director and agency leadership. Empower the Deputy Director and agency leadership to make informed decisions by maintaining a high level of Salesforce expertise, and providing explanation and guidance to the Deputy Director and agency leadership.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS/BA degree required; BS/BA in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field preferred.
  • Must have strong research skills including gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources.
  • Must have strong documentation skills and ability to follow tasks through to completion.
  • Must have strong analytical, planning, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects with limited guidance in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines with excellent attention to detail.
  • Must have a thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and staff, and communicate highly technical information to non-technical end-users.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Must have an ability to produce and analyze reports, and write business correspondence.
  • Must have an ability to read, understand, and apply language from manuals, policies, technical procedures, and instructions.
  • Must have experience in conflict resolution. Must have demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Must agree to and pass all post contingency offer background, reference checks, and TB screening clearances.
  • Must read, communicate orally, and write in English.
  • Experience working in non-profit or public sector preferred.
  • Experience working with diverse, low-income, homeless and/or formerly homeless population preferred.
  • Experience working with Salesforce in a non-profit setting preferred.
