About this role: Responsible for supporting the administration of Gartner’s global travel program.


What you’ll do: 


  • Become the Subject Matter Expert of Gartner’s travel program and policies
  • Provide daily support to associates for travel program inquiries 

  • Monitor/leverage travel data and metrics including performance and exceptions
    • (e.g. receive monthly emailed Amex reports; log and review travel exception requests and approvals that come through the Travel Feedback mailbox, summarize those results for management. Track and report on Coach for Cash program similar to exceptions process above. Utilize Amex Dashboard reporting to provide insight to Travel Director. Examples of reporting received by email are: online booking adoption, transaction count)
  • Monitor reporting for various processes (e.g. Review of various emailed travel reports)
  • Process global travel rewards forms
  • Educate associates on travel processes
  • Drive and support continuous improvement by supporting management initiatives
  • Understand global travel processes and assist in any related global consistency projects 
  • Complete special projects and other responsibilities as assigned

 What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor degree in Communications, Hospitality or Business preferred
  • 1-4 years of experience working in travel & expense, finance or similar business function.  
  • Familiarity with basic accounting procedures or ERP systems.
  • Must have a strong can-do, no limits, Winner mindset
  • Excellent customer service and listening skills
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take direction
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. 
  • Ability to learn new tools quickly
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with a diverse audience at various levels while considering cultural differences
  • Strong initiative and willingness to take on projects in a proactive manner
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
