Job description

As an Operations Manager in Business Operations, you are responsible for partnering with the Operations Director to support Operations and Quality initiatives for the Enterprise. This role is part of the Business Operations Office and provides support to the PeopleScout Client teams, Executive Leadership, and other internal departments.

The Operations Manager role in Business Operations is defined as an exempt (salaried) role with the ability to work remotely (telecommuting). This position will work virtually.

The primary responsibility will be to partner and support day to day Business Operations activities, including Executive Reporting, Global Operations Governance and Compliance, Strategic Projects, Quality and Assurance initiatives, Business Continuity, and Finance & Control Processes. Interactions include all members of Client teams, Executive Leadership Team, and Internal departments.

Work Environment

The fast paced environment of an entrepreneurial organization requires the Operations Manager to use judgment to prioritize work, make decisions and meet objectives. The following characteristics and requirements are necessary for an individual to be successful in the position:

  • Proven leader within the recruitment services industry or strong RPO experience
  • RPO and/or staffing industry experience required
  • Proven experience managing high volume of escalation
  • Experience with Union and Non-Union Staffing requirements
  • Experience managing class hiring
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others, problem solve and diplomatically handle all customer or team escalations
  • Strong financial and business operation acumen including working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and Customer Reporting
  • Excellent consultative skills
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes and best practices
  • Ability to Prioritize and Plan for current and future Client Team needs
  • Flexibility and ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Understanding of recruiting compliance and regulations
  • Effective written and oral communication skills including ability to deliver presentations
  • Ability to travel as needed (Up to 10%)

Structured Responsibilities

Client Team/Customer Service Support

Daily Client Team/Customer Service Support responsibility include (1) responding to Client team inquiries and requests, (2) identifying potential areas of operational improvement, and (3) maintain a high level of Client team satisfaction regarding Business Operations support.

Internal Team Support

Provide on-going support to the Business Operations team through the management of specific projects, monitoring team email box, and participation in Business Operations meetings and initiatives.

Reporting

Management of Monthly Executive Reporting, including Scorecard completion, reporting system uploads, dashboards, and preparation of the monthly Business Operations Review.

Compensation and Benefits

The salaried amount for this position is based on experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus, medical plan, life insurance, and STD plans. The first day of coverage will be the Monday following the first payroll employee contribution/deduction.

Travel

Ability to travel as needed (Up to 15%)
