Description

Barnes Healthcare Services, a Post-Acute Complex Care Provider, is searching for an RN to provide post-acute care services to chronic care patients in the Pensacola, Florida, area. Barnes is not a home health agency, but rather a home health company, specializing in chronic care management of patients with needs for precision specialty home infusion therapy, parenteral and enteral nutrition services, respiratory services, as well as disease state management education.

The candidate should possess the clinical expertise for assessment of patient needs related to specialty infusion therapies: Anti-infective, Inotrope therapy, immune therapy, inflammatory disease management, alpha 1 enzyme replacement, enteral nutrition therapy, and parenteral nutrition therapy.

They will also be responsible for the trouble shooting and cleaning of certain equipment, maintaining supplies, and disease state management education.

The candidate should excel in infusion through peripheral, PICC and port access. The RN must be a self-starter, able to work autonomously, and have excellent communication skills. Basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelors Degree
  • Current nursing license in the State of Employment
  • 2-5 years expeirence in starting and maintaining IV's required
  • Infusion therapy preferred
  • Travel required; 2 years of home health experience preferred
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
