Peds OR Registered Nurse - RN - Travel Contract

Ro Health is currently looking for a passionate and experienced Pediatric OR Registered Nurse (RN) to work a full-time contract at a hospital near Portland, Oregon. Take a look at the details and let us know if this position with Ro Health might be the right opportunity for you.

Position Details:

• Location: Portland, OR
• Hours Guarantee: 40/week
• Shift: 10 hour shifts, 07:00-17:30
• Target Start Date: June 26, 2017

Duties Include:

• Assess and provide direct patient care in both the circulating and scrub roles.
• Provide basic bedside care, including triage, monitoring and evaluation
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment
• Take samples for lab work, order corresponding lab work and interpret reports
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, and interpret and record electronic displays
• Provide patient health education, communicate patients’ conditions to family members

Required Qualifications:

• BSN degree
• Current State RN License in good standing
• Minimum of 1 Year of current perioperative surgical nursing experience
• Minimum of 2 Years’ experience working in a Pediatric perioperative setting
• Experience scrubbing in multiple specialties
• Current PALS and BLS Certification
• Recent PPD Test or Chest X-Ray
• Additional Health Records Upon Request from Facility
• Positive Attitude and a Team Player
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records Systems
