Full Time/40hrs. /week, Day Shift (11:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Summary

Responsible for stocking inventory and cash handling in the gift shop retail outlets. Responsible for promoting marketing and selling products to customers.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

+ Skilled in stocking and inventory management in the retail arena

+ Greets all customers with personal service and provides superior customer satisfaction

+ Responsible for cash handling, makes change, and totals bank daily

+ Effectively merchandizing products

+ Promotes and markets products to customers

+ Light sanitation and cleanup of storeroom as appropriate

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

+ HS diploma or GED equivalent

+ 1-2 years of retail experience required

+ 1-2 years of inventory experience required

+ Math skills and cash handling experience required

+ Knowledge of working a cash register and credit card machine required

+ Excellent customer service skills

+ Ability to exchange information on factual matters, greet visitors, and explain medical center policies in terms of cash handling, food preparation and safety if applicable
