Position Summary
The Sales Associate must be a highly\-motivated and self\-driven team player that has the ability to perform in a dynamic prototyping environment\. This candidate plays a key role in generating new business, facilitating existing business, and building relationships with our customers and/or potential customers\. This position is an inside sales position\.
The Sales Associate reports to the Sales Manager\. Key Responsibilities:
Supports efforts throughout entire sales and customer relationship cycle, including:
o Salesforce\.com opportunity administration
o Coordinate Client training schedule and training enrollment with Client Services
Communicates extensively with prospective customers regarding TRU Simulation Training ProFlight products and services through phone contact, email, and face to face meetings
Identifies opportunities to develop and increase ProFlight business through market analysis and continuous dialogue with sales personnel and customers
Reports significant trends to sales management and recommends specific actions as appropriate
Provides detailed product presentations and coordinates with other departments on matters relating to marketing materials, pricing, and product demand
Identifies and generates sales leads through various means
Coordinates and hosts customer visits, tours, demonstrations, and represents ProFlight at trade shows and events as assigned
Remains current with aviation industry and Pilot training news to maintain an awareness of issues likely to impact customers and potential customers
Continuously researches market within the identified territory to identify prospective customers
Represent TRU Simulation Training at trade shows and industry events as required
Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Aviation Management, or related field
Two years of sales or customer service experience
Prior aviation industry experience, preferred
Prior sales and/or marketing experience, preferred
Sound business acumen
Excellent written and verbal communication
Professional appearance and demeanor
Motivated and self\-directed to deliver high quality results
Strong analytical, financial, and computer skills
Team player with strong interpersonal skills 15% Travel required
