Sales Associate Internship
Omnicell has a unique multi-phase Sales Development Program and Internship that will provide college seniors with the training and resources to build a solid foundation for a successful and rewarding sales career with Omnicell. The internship involves working closely with Sales Leadership, Sales Consultants, Field Sales, Marketing, and Clinical Pharmacist and Nurse Consultants. Responsible for generating new business opportunities through call campaigns, internet research, and participating in Marketing Trade Shows and Events. Demonstrates products/solutions tailored to the specific customer environment. This role is also responsible for providing pricing, contract, and sales support to field sales and sales development. Through training, customer observations, and self-study, develop acumen surrounding healthcare industry, hospital operations, Omnicell Products, Sales Skils, Strategic Sales Process, and Six Sigma tools and methodologies. This role is developed for future sales development and field sales positions.

+ Utilizing a consultative approach, generate new business opportunities through outbound calls to Hospital Directors, C-Suite for Omnicell’s products and services. Conduct discovery conversations utilizing call guides to qualify the target for one or more of Omnicell solutions.
+ Research, prepare, and present selling/customer focused presentations.
+ Support Sales Development and Field Sales with business planning, quoting and contracting efforts.
+ Understand how a hospital is organized and managed through participating in various on-site meetings and workflow assessments.
+ Support Field Marketing efforts through leading product demonstrations at trade shows and regional events.
+ Provide proposal pricing, contract, and sales operations support to field sales by developing acumen of internal Finance, Legal, and Operations processes.
+ Assist with Customer Briefing Tours and demonstrate the value of Omnicell’s Products and Solutions.
+ Observe and support all phases of the sales process.
+ Participate and achieve a passing score in all sales skills, business acumen, and product trainings.
+ Utilize Omnicell’s CRM software and other necessary tools for accurate and detailed data capture and metrics.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education / Training:
+ Expected Graduation on or before May 2018 with B.A./B.S. in Business (Finance, Accounting, Marketing Preferred), Economics, or Communications
+ Minimum 3.0 GPA
Business Experience:
+ Lead Generation/ Direct Cold Calling/ Campaign Generation related experience
+ Internship, Part-time job, or academic project in a corporate environment associated with major field of study
Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
+ Strong problem solving skills.
+ Proficient at executing multiple concurrent/competing priorities.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with strong presentation skills.
+ Proven leadership skills
+ Highly motivated
+ Solid team skills (team player)
+ PC skills with strong Word, Excel, Power Point, and Internet capabilities.
Working Conditions:
+ Environment – Office environment (Cranberry Township, Pa)
+ Travel required – Yes, 5% Plus
+ Physical Requirements – Sitting, standing, walking, and using a keyboard.
