Sales Associate/Lead Management

Summary: Inside Sales and Lead Management - Effectively manage leads from manufacturer representative agencies, prospective commercial and industrial customers in an effort to support the sales and marketing teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Use CRM software to manage and track leads and sales (Zoho).

- Leverage lighting representative agencies to convert website inquiries from leads to customers.

- Work with other representatives to keep accounts active and maintain relationships.

- Mine data through the use of various software programs to determine prospective points of contact.

- Makes outbound lead follow-up contact with potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products.

- Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database

- Builds and maintains customer relationships.

- Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales.

- Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers.

- Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders.

- Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.

- Investigates and resolves customer problems with delivery or warranty issues.

- Researches competition, energy programs, government agencies and other pertinent programs.

- Creates and submits quotes, invoices and lighting layouts per client guidelines.

- Attends tradeshows and travels as necessary.

Qualifications: Listed below are required knowledge and skill sets.

- Educations/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft platform applications including; Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook. Familiarity with Zoho or CRM software is preferred.

- Familiar with Intuit QuickBooks platform and general database systems. Knowledge of E2 Shoptech is preferred.

- Proficient written grammer and spelling.

- Positive personality with ability to work in team oriented environment

- Valid driver's license
