Job Description

Reporting to the Assistant Manager of the Retail Program at Stanford Healthcare, the sales associate is exemplary in his/her customer service. Utilizing CICARE best practices, the sales assoicate engages the customer, provides assistance and closes transactions with a successful sale. The sales associate will:

Greet and thank customers proactively

Offer assistance with merchandise selection, product knowledge and general shop information

Provide assistance with general navigational and hospital information

Provide customers with a positive experience

Handle phone transactions with helpfulness and efficiency

Hande the operation of the POS (point of sale) system with efficiency and accuracy

Work to meet sales goals

Perform opening and closing procedures with proficiency

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent

Experience: 3+ years of work experience with direct customers in a fast-paced environment or

1.5 years wrok experience with direct customer interaction in a healthcare environment

Work location: Palo Alto, CA
