Independent Core Strategies is a rapidly growing local company that provides sales support services to commercial customers. We are looking for a talented and experienced B2B Sales Associate to join our Philadelphia team.

This position will be required to produce 90-95% of sales through in-person self-generated effort in a designated territory. Because this is not a lead-driven position, we are not looking for someone to sit back and collect. Rather, we are looking for a hunter and are compensating accordingly. Please do not show interest unless you know how to hunt for business and are willing to work for your keep!

The ideal B2B Sales Associate must be dependable, ethical, and have a desire to succeed. This position requires you to be well organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated. Providing excellent customer service with a friendly and positive attitude is a must!

Duties of the B2B Sales Associate include:

  • Work directly for the Director of Commercial Sales.
  • Prospect and develop new business relationships through in-person sales cold calls throughout the Philadelphia area.
  • Inspect commercial accounts for current needs and service deficiencies to provide recommended service programs and options.
  • Close self-generated business opportunities through in-person sales presentation of proposed services.
  • Cross-sell existing and created customers.
  • Manage and grow a dedicated sales territory
  • Establish effective working relationships with a variety of industries
  • Problem solving and/or complaint resolution.
  • Documentation of accounts (new, status, follow ups, etc.) through internal CRM program.
