The primary responsibility of the salesperson within healthcare retail is to demonstrate a positive, outgoing and caring attitude towards all customers and patients. Sales in healthcare retail requires the ability to learn new products in health, wellness and gift categories and to explain the function and the benefit of these items to patients and customers. Demonstrates the ability to work all areas in the Gift Shop to ensure smooth operations. . Treats all patients, customers and visitors with compassion and respect. Engages all who enter the Gift Shop. Understands and follows customer service standards and expectations. Builds customer clientele by making customer satisfaction the stores top priority. Fosters team approach.Reports to Gift Shop Manager. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Full Time - Hours of Operations - 8am - 8pm, Monday thru Saturday, Sunday 10am - 4pm. 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2-3 years experience in a retail environment
  • Knowledge of POS system preferred. Requires good interpersonal skills, as well as good written and oral communication skills. Ability to work cooperatively with others as part of a team. Must have good organizational skills and have the ability to prioritize duties
