SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Providesales support to senior members of the team to facilitate administrative processes\.

+ Assist senior sales staff in the research and resolution of administrative/operational issues

+ Aid senior sales staff with the presentation of information and prepare sales/marketing proposals for their review

+ Provide consistent phone coverage to ensure prompt attention to clients and issues

+ Coordinate the marketing needs for senior sales staff with the Marketing Department

+ Use internal contacts and resources to arrange meetings

+ Travel/expense administration for senior sales staff using web\-based, Oracle application

+ Maintain and develop knowledge of client systems/applications, including I\-star and our internal web\-based research document database

Maintain a proactive,client service focus in order to meet their needs and increase sales for the group\.

+ Under the supervision of senior sales staff, contact customers to present available investment services and develop client prospects from among current customers, referral leads and other sources\.

+ Act as point person to provide client support in the form of proposals, marketing material, event planning, and scheduling with the cooperation of sales, research, and marketing and with the support of the managing senior salesperson\.

+ Respond to inquiries from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community in a professional manner and determine acceptable solutions\.

Actively participate inevents and conferences to build relationships, increase familiarity with products, and strengthen the firm’s profile in the industry\.

+ Attend internal and external meetings with salespeople and analysts in order to provide client service support and become familiar with the BMO Capital Markets research product\.

+ Assist the Event Planning group in the coordination and running of firm\-sponsored conferences to ensure smooth execution of firm\-sponsored events

+ Be actively involved in the event and look for ways to develop sales

Develop strongmarket knowledge in order to provide comprehensive service to clients, develop new solutions, and construct compelling recommendations\.

+ Cultivate strong relationships with members of the research team in order to understand their industries and stock coverage\.

+ Read, analyze and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents to better serve client needs\.

+ Use analytical skills \(probability, statistical inference, concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions\) and be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables\.

+ Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

+ BS or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, or related\.

+ Three years of experience in investment banking, including experience with institutional equity markets\.

+ Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business periodicals and financial reports, and communicating fundamental company information pertaining to multiple industries\.
