Sales Operations Associate
REPORTS TO: Director of Sales Operations
Overview of Position:
The Sales Support Associate is the liaison between our Customers, Sales, Customer Care, Production Control, Pricing, IT, Credit, Finished Goods and Shipping. This person must be able to multi-task and prioritize duties while employing critical thinking and problem solving techniques to make sure our customers’ expectations are met or exceeded.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day activities such as:
- Open Order administration and maintenance
- Assortment administration and maintenance
- Ad hoc customer inquiries
- Component procurement
- Including outside vendors
- Policy review
- Prioritize and maintain an up-to-date task list and completion of tasks
- Correspond clearly, professionally and timely with multiple internal departments (Pricing, Finished Goods, Planning, IT) on required follow-up for the accounts
- Proactively problem solve with resources available
Core Competencies & Requirements:
- 4 year degree in a business related major or equivalent business experience
- Excellent analytical skills, including Retail Math, with strong ability to interpret data and reports
- Excellent communicator - written, verbal and presentation
- Detail oriented
- Excellent relationship builder, comfortable with client facing meetings
- Demonstrates courage, conviction, adaptability and diplomacy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel user
- Experience using Microsoft Navision or other ERP tool
