Print Advertising, Sales Account Executive Opening

Box Top Advertising specializes in specific and strategic advertising campaigns designed to help businesses advertise, market and brand themselves on a local level. The relationships we have developed with over 2,500 local pizzerias and nationally-known pizzeria chains allow us to deliver the highest reach and frequency for the lowest cost available in print advertising today.

Since 2009, BTA has expanded its program to over 28 states and 3 countries. Our mission is to provide all of our clients with a cost-effective direct marketing program, while delivering their message directly into the homes of their current and potential customers.

We’re looking for experienced sales professionals with past success in print advertising or direct sales to develop and maintain exclusive territories in this market as Advertising Consultants. If you have experience with ad sales in local newspapers, magazines, register tape, diner place mats, hotel directories or phone books, we're the place for you!

Job Summary

Our ideal candidate will have elite communication and organizational skills with an attention to detail, excellent work ethic, and a positive, enthusiastic attitude. As an Advertising Consultant, you'll conduct the sales and marketing of our advertising program. As your territory matures, your role becomes more of an account/relationship manager, deepening existing relationships, as well as adding to your existing portfolio.

This is a work from home sales role. However, most of the time is spent in the field on behalf of the clients in a very fast-paced, business-to-business sales environment. The sales cycle of our product is short, and almost all sales are made on the first or second visit to the client, typically within the same week.

This role is results-driven, and therefore compensation is paid at 100% commission.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Seek out client partners to expand our effective marketing program
- Sell advertising space to area businesses
- Effectively communicate with the clients, design team and leadership
- Follow up with clients through email, phone calls and face-to-face meetings
- Attend daily morning conference calls
- Consistently update and maintain sales reports
- Deliver results and meet deadlines
- Build and maintain a solid client portfolio

Experience and Requirements

- Proven track record in an outside sales, B2B environment
- STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS, both verbal and written
- Ability to self-manage and work independently a MUST
- Ability to effectively use computer, printer, scanner and smart phone
- Positive, professional, go-getter mentality
- 30-35 field hours a week, 5-10 home office hours
- Proven track record in consistently meeting deadlines

Those with 5+ years outside sales experience in print advertising or a related field will move to the front of the line!
