Industrial Sales Executive
Summary:
This position is responsible for the day to day sales of KOHLER Industrial products, and for establishing and maintaining customer relationships for a defined industrial market.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily including the following.
- Distribute quotation as required to customers.
- Help customers and employees with product specifications, model numbers, and pricing about company products.
- Prepare weekly call reports and keep company Salesforce database updated with new business contact, quotes, and sales.
- Communicate with both the inside sales support position and the service department.
- Partner with the inside estimator/project manager to ensure customers are handled in the proper manner.
- Employee will report to the designated Sales Manager.
- Responsible for Accounts established by the designated Sales Manager.
- Attend trade shows as needed and hold lunch and learn training meetings as needed.
- Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of industry product and sales information.

Qualifications:

- Ability and willingness to travel between 25% and 50% of the time.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from accredited college, or technical school preferred, or two to five years’ sales experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Generator knowledge and understanding of electrical and mechanical equipment strongly preferred.
- 3+ year’s sales experience preferred.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and interact professionally with various levels of leadership across all client companies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office product. Familiar with Great Plains software preferred.
- Interact professionally with all levels of leadership across the client companies.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Must be a team player, detail-orientated, and flexible.
- Self-starter and able to work with limited supervision.
