Position Summary 

We are currently seeking a dynamic and aggressive Sales Executive in our NYC Headquarters with a desire for success as part of our growth strategy. This is a “Hunter” position. The Sales Executive will be responsible for achieving individual IT sales goals in all verticals. This position reports to the Area Sales Manager. The successful candidate will have the experience and a proven track record of individual IT technology and solutions sales throughout the United States. She/he will be responsible for meeting and/or exceeding individual performance objectives as established by the sales director. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Meets and/or exceeds individual IT technology and services sales quota
  • Work with the management team to institute processes and procedures that drive individual sales
  • Knowledge of Cloud, Mobility, Security, and Big Data
  • Well versed in multi vendor Hardware and Software solutions
  • Understands the difference between transactional and solutions based sales model
  • Successful sales with complex services models including Service Desk, Out-tasking, and Life cycle Services
  • Successful sales of IT technology including Storage, Servers, Networking, PCs, and Print solutions
  • Accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue stream in accordance with your annual quota
  • Ensure that the CRM is kept accurate and up-to-date
  • Demonstrate strong people and business leadership skills

Required Qualification:

  • Must have their own “Book of Business” created from previous IT sales experience
  • 4-yr Bachelor Degree preferred or equivalent in directly related field
  • Must have a minimum of 5 to 10 years of business-to-business consultative IT sales experience
  • Proven ability to hunt, develop and manage mid to enterprise and global clients
  • Extensive experience in building a successful staff through continual training
  • Successful track record in developing new business opportunities
  • Outstanding skills in sales leadership, strategic planning and personnel management
  • Excellent communication, presentation and executive presence skills
  • Highly competitive and self-motivated with the ability to deliver results quickly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong customer presentation skills
  • Team player
