Sales Executive - BackUp

Job Summary:

j2 Global® is looking to add a Sales Executive to our growing back up team!

This is a newly created position reporting directly to the Senior Director of Corporate Sales and will be responsible for acquiring new business in the New York metro market. You will be a critical player in the continuous growth of the KeepItSafe®, LiveVault® and ValutLogix brands. Working closely with the Inside Sales and Marketing teams, you will be responsible for fostering leads to fruition targeting large to enterprise clients.

Job Duties:

• Achieve annual sales targets via a technical sales cycle (3-6 months+)
• Build and maintain a constant accurate pipeline
• Develop new relationships with potential clients
• Close deals with decision makers (manager – C level)

Job Requirements & Experience:

• 7-10 years of sales experience with 3-5 years experience in the backup and disaster recovery industry
• BA/BS Degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Successful track record selling in the NY metro and surrounding markets
• Experience successfully completing the Miller Heiman Sanchez strategic selling
• Salesforce or similar CRM experience
• Proven track record of working independently from a home office
• Ability to travel as needed
