Lighting Design and Specification - Inside Sales

As one of the nation’s largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions we are expanding our staff and seeking a Lighting Design and Specification Inside Sales Representative to join our Denver, CO team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Lighting Design and Specification Inside Sales Representative you will skillfully and assertively market the service, product, and support offerings to the Outside Sales Representative. The ideal candidate should have some experience in sales skills, inside sales or marketing. We are seeking candidates with strong prospecting, communication and presentation skills.

An Lighting Design and Specification Inside Sales Representative will:

• Be professional and efficient handling of incoming customer calls from assigned customer base
• Introduce new products to customers when appropriate
• Follow up within 24 hours on quotations in an effort to write an order, or receive feedback to use in future quotations
• Interact with the Outside Sales force, the sales manager and purchasing to exchange customer needs information
• Setup of new accounts
• Attend appropriate continuing education courses in the industry as directed by the Branch Manager
• Other duties as necessary

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• One year experience in a sales environment
• Desire to establish a sales career
• Have enthusiastic, outgoing, competitive and self-motivated attributes
• Be articulate and professional over the phone
• Experience in lighting distribution or electrical system installations a plus!
