Candidate will be taking incoming calls from customers (like a small call center environment). Candidate should be computer literate.
Below is what a typical day will look like.
Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work.
Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the customer’s needs.
Submits quotes by referring to price lists and product literature.
Gathers current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc
. Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; making recommendations to management when needed.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
The hours are 8am – 5pm, Mon – Fri. Job is located in zip code 77055/North Post Oak area .
Should have at least 3 years of technical customer service experience. A Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain is desired but not required. Spanish speaking is also a plus ! Recent college grads are good for this position. There is growth opportunity down the road.
