Position Summary:
Promote Radyne Corporation, its products and services in the assigned geography. Drive profitable growth by developing business opportunities, and closing sales. This is a regional business development role as well as a sales role.
Responsibilities:
· Meet a quota assigned by the regional sales manager
· Direct sales responsibility plus promote Radyne brand, products and services to the appropriate market segments in the assigned geography.
· Meet and work direct with customers to understand customer goals, objectives, problems, and justification.
· Work with Aftermarket SalesManager, management and Applications Engineering to quote standard and engineered solutions to meet unique customer induction heating production requirements.
· Develop long term relationships with customer base and regional industry influencers.
· Develop specific sales strategies and plans to ensure revenue growth in assigned territory.
· Report on Sales Activities and Forecast future sales.
· Work (coordinate) with Radyne Regional Sales Manager, Aftermarket Sales and other Inductotherm company sales representatives as required.
· Participate in scheduled Radyne sales meetings.
· Represent Radyne Corporation at industry related trade shows.
· Effectively manage the regional sales and expenses within plan.
· Determine pricing and solution strategies and respond to competitive pricing pressures on a daily basis.
Qualifications:
· Outgoing, people oriented, skilled listener, negotiator, excellent communicator both oral and written.
· Self-motivated, high energy, detail oriented, well organized and able to prioritize.
· Proven track record of sales goal attainment and success or equivalent general sales and/or business experience.
· Feature benefit selling is critical with the proven ability to make presentations to small and large groups.
· General knowledge of manufacturing processes
· Industrial heating process knowledge or experience a big plus
· Ability to create and deliver value to solve customer’s production problems.
· Ability to work within a “team” environment.
· Travel 2 to 3 weeks a month.
· Skilled with a computer and Microsoft software.
Education Requirements:
Associate degree or equivalent experience
B.S. or B.A. a plus
