Job description

Broad Description of the Role:

The inbound sales person has an overall responsibility to build up and sustain clients’ interest in RDS’ services and to address any concerns or queries that clients may have. Consequently, the inbound sales person will close deals and generate new revenues through telephonic and digital communication. He/she will breathe new life into dormant accounts and skillfully manage and grow a select group of active accounts. Successful performance in this role requires a strong ability to persuade customers through exceptional oral and written communication skills. Sales and customer service experience are ideal for this role, as well as familiarity with business operating and client management software. 

Accountabilities and responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls, respond to questions, understand customers’ needs, place orders and resolve clients’ issues and concerns.

  • Facilitate sales of services based on clients needs including initiating calls to generate new sales and/or activate dormant accounts.

  • Educate customers on RDS services and match their needs with company’s offerings.

  • Generate quotes and pricing information for customers and keep record of conversations and points to be used in analyzing accounts and generating business.

  • Review Chats, web forms, phone and email records, referrals  to capture leads and respond to customers via Chats as needed.

  • Review all 102s and persuade customers to initiate and maintain accounts as to increase sales volume.

  • Reach out to lost accounts; understand issues and context and attempt to re-activate usage of RDS services.

  • Manage Maximizer database, input, store and archive customers contact information and conversations.

  • Use email to respond to inquiries from website and email system.

    Technical Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of telesales and customer service experience.

  • Experience with clients management and business operating software. Experience with Xcelerator and Maximizer would be ideal.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Superior organization skills and ability to prioritize.

  • Ability to make decisions and close deals.
