We currently have a position vacancy in the Pittsburgh Region of Air Technologies for an Inside Sale Representative. The position will be based out of our Pittsburgh, PA office.

The Inside Sales Representative position is a position that is multi-faceted and critical to the success of our sales, project management and administrative teams. Its primary function is to conduct product estimations in order to develop new project quotations and bids. It also includes procurement and managing activities related to subcontractors, vendors and supporting outsourced labor and materials. Additionally, the candidate may conduct project management and coordination activities that support new and existing projects. The candidate will have the opportunity to contribute directly to company results by achieving clearly defined performance metrics that tie into our key milestones and goals. A successful candidate must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently and on teams while prioritizing tasks to ensure timely project completion. That will contribute to our ability to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide technical support to internal and external customers, vendors and contractors for all products.

  • Work with Sales Engineers to develop engineered solutions to customer requests.

  • Prepare, log and track written quotations for equipment opportunities.

  • Provide product, sales and engineering support for all Air Technologies® products represented.

  • Process orders for equipment sales, “completes”, in a timely fashion.

  • Process monthly equipment billings as needed.

  • Source, coordinate, and schedule contractors for projects as needed.

  • Conduct technical research as required.

  • Place orders with appropriate suppliers and maintain good vendor / partner relationships.

  • Enter orders into companywide order entry system.

  • Expedite vendor orders.

  • Interface with our sales team on client bid and project requests to complete a final quote with pricing, core tasks and deliverables.

  • Work with contractors to develop Scope-of-Work documents, labor and material content estimates, and key on-site installation tasks.

  • Utilize estimating software program to calculate project costs.

  • Obtain subcontractor pricing for key tasks like electrical wiring/installation, data cabling and site service deliverables.

  • Manage vendor agreements such as Certificates of Insurance, W9 Tax forms, Master Supplier Agreements, and other key documents.

  • Expand and potentially tier our labor suppliers to achieve best in class coverage and competitiveness.

  • Once the project is won develop or assist with the final specific Scope-of-Work with key tasks and requirements.

  • Obtain documents as needed to ensure quality installation.

  • Collect project and site items related to the project such as vendor quotes, site reports, Scope-of-Work documents, and client signoffs.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • BA Project Management, Engineering Degree in capital goods/construction estimating or over Five (5) years experience in Project Estimator/Project Coordinator/Project Engineer

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM)

  • Excellent problem solving skills.

  • Experience with project scheduling and tracking

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

  • Strong sense of urgency

  • A commitment to the concept of “doing it right the first time.”

  • Positive “Winning” Attitude required.
