Our client is a manufacturer of specialty metal products in the Chicago area. We are searching for an Experienced sales manager with 7+ years of sales experience, proven ability to grow and develop business and build strong customer relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide strategy, leadership and direction for an outside sales force; drive profitable and sustainable growth objectives among the team; provide support and technical assistance when necessary; hold team accountable
Develop and implement proper performance metrics for sales objectives and sales team performance; report on revenue, margin, pipeline etc. statistics to plant, management and executive leadership
Drive strategic plans for organic and market growth to successful completion
Build, grow, and maintain relationships with key customers; collect, compile and act on Voice of the Customer data
Participate on cross functional teams to ensure customer objectives are communicated
Facilitate business development initiatives based on company strategic objectives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field required
Ten (10) or more years of experience in Sales; supervision experience preferred
* Demonstrated success in sales growth, business development and customer development
