NETZSCH, an internationally operated technology company, is the world market leader for Progressing Cavity Pumps that are used in a variety of industrial applications including but not limited to Environmental & Energy, Food & Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Pulp & Paper and Oil & Gas.  NETZSCH also manufactures Rotary lobe and Multiple Screw pumps and single shaft grinders.

NETZSCH Pumps North America has an opening for SOUTH CENTRAL OEM SALES MANAGER.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Develop and implement OEM customer sales plans based on individual customer needs while supporting corporate goals.

  • Grow the existing and new sales of OEM customers within the territorial responsibilities

  • Increase the profitability of sales, both dollars and percentage, each year

  • Develop a territorial plan that identifies various levels of customers, the plan for growth and frequency of engagement for each type of customer

    • Develop plan for maintaining/growing current customer revenues

    • Identify new customer opportunities through research, networking, current application success and trade organizations and develop a plan for maximum penetration of these accounts

  • Develop and Maintain product expertise. Develop a sales proposition for the OEM accounts in your assigned area given the individual needs of each customer.

  • Know the competitive differences in products.

  • Provide assistance to OEM customers with respect to quotations, sales and service support as necessary.

  • Utilize all sales tools and presentation materials to establish OEM customer interest and loyalty to NETZSCH products.

  • Be the customer’s liaison for all selling cycle activities from initial inquiry to collection of funds

  • Identify new product ideas/enhancements that would assist in growing the NETZSCH business. Provide any information or research for which the management team would ask to support developing the product or product enhancement.

  • Develop relationship with the other OEM Sales Managers to facilitate a cooperative and interactive department that leverages successes and openly discusses areas for improvement

  • Keep the Management Team abreast of any changes within accounts and/or the market place that do or could signal shifts in NETZSCH’s business.

  • Manage all business activities within the established budget levels. Absent this information, be mindful of costs and control spending so as to maximize profitability.  

  • Forecast incoming business as instructed by the VP OEM Management

  • Fulfill other requests as is necessary for the business

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Computer knowledge (MS office products).
  • College degree in Engineering or related technical field and minimum 5 years’ experience in outside technical sales.
  • Current drivers’ license.
