Interior Design and/or Window Covering Sales Experience Required. Do you enjoy working one on one with customers in their homes? With our generous compensation plan, your income will be limited only by the amount of effort you apply in this non supervisory role. The territory for this role is Atlanta and Nashville.

Our customers value our Window Covering Products (Blinds, Shades and Shutters) and you will too! Currently, there is more opportunity than we can handle, we are expanding to the Atlanta market! This is a full time position.

We will provide you with a car allowance or company van (wrapped), gas card, ipad, iphone, and other resources needed to be successful. This is an outside sales position that will require a safe parking space for the company van (small van) and a quiet working space at your residence home office for short spans of time.

We are looking for motivated local Window Covering Sales Representatives that enjoy relationship selling to customers in their homes.

This is fun! Often, you will work with excited new residential home owners needing to cover their windows. If you have a successful track record in interior design, we will train you further on window coverings to have the knowledge and resources needed to be successful. This position is only for those with a passion for delivering excellent customer service and making money.

You will be productive generating sales through our easy referral system. Our team will help you make connections and generate leads with new residential home owners. Next, you will schedule an appointment, drive to our customer’s home, listen and then present a window covering product solution. After they make the purchase, our customer service representative will assist them with arranging their installation with our company installers. Your customer will love the look, quality and benefits of their new window coverings. Then comes the second fun part, your customers will be excited to tell others and they will call you to purchase window coverings. Products include: 2" blinds, roller, roman, cellular, vertical panel track shades and shutters.

What you need to be successful: A professional image, an outgoing personality to network and build relationships, great listening skills and an ability to close the deal!

Previous Window Covering selling experience required, and Interior Design education/experience is a plus for this base plus commission role.

Builders Blinds training includes our start up program, one on one coaching from your dedicated Regional Managers with ongoing product updates and sales training activities.

Position Requirements:
• 2 years Window Covering Selling experience

Desired Associate’s (2 year) degree, related work experience and or Interior Design Certification

• Desire to work in a commissioned sales role

• Previous work experience as an outside sales representative

• Microsoft Office skills working in Microsoft Word, Excel

• Valid Driver’s License, good driving record and a safe place to park the company van

Important Information: With our base pay and commission compensation plan, your income will be limited only by the amount of effort you apply.

Drug screenings, background checks, and driver's license checks are a requirement of the pre-employment process.
