Description
Generate New Sales Opportunities
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound campaign follow up and outbound cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn messages
- Drive conversion of suspect to prospect through account research, identifying key players and generating interest in BF solutions
- Route qualified prospects to appropriate Account Executive with validated account information
- Develop sales team relationships and processes to ensure efficient lead passing and timely follow up to develop prospects
- Collaborate with area sales teams to manage the suspect / prospect pipeline for additional activity
Effectively Supporting Marketing Initiatives- Re-qualify incoming leads from trade shows, events, Web and other sales/marketing activities
- Follow up on direct AE sales activities to include - drops, targeted letters/ email, local events
- Collaborate with AEs to source valuable account information in Salesforce
- Partner with local AE to build targeted strategic campaigns
- Drive cross selling activities in customer base - media sales, portal, communications
Demonstrate Technical, Product & Industry Expertise- Be proficient in our CRM, Salesforce.com and Salesforce Engage. Dedicated to data quality and meticulous population of key sales information
- Have the ability to provide an overview of Benefitfocus Portfolio of Products & Services in written form and verbally. Must know how to answer basic questions about our service offerings. Demonstrate ability to articulate Benefitfocus value messaging.
- Devote to continuous learning of industry - trends, competitors, market
- Experience in Microsoft Excel, Hoovers, Zoominfo, and MiEdge

- Bachelor’s Degree.
- SaaS/HCM industry knowledge is preferred.
- Experience working with Account Executives
- Excellent knowledge and utilization of Salesforce for accurate pipeline and account management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Solution oriented mindset; overcome sales objections
