We are privately owned manufacturer and we believe in superior customer service. This position primarily sells cups and containers to the foodservice and packaging industry by cultivating and servicing new and ongoing accounts. The representative will communicate product opportunity in a highly professional, ethical and knowledgeable manner. There will be required reporting of all activities.
Required:
Familiarity with packaging and cups, or experience selling a tangible product
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Strong customer service skills combined with the sales ability to sell tangible products – cold call, connect and establish rapport
Ability to meet with a group of customers and complete a product presentation
Must present well over the phone and in person, with an ease in building rapport
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and extremely detail oriented
Reporting of all activities
Willingness to go the extra mile
Bilingual in Spanish, not required, but a plus
Duties:
Achieve, or exceed, sales objectives by explaining product benefits and features to customers
Build relationships with customers and prospect for new customers
Market research to understand the competition and seek out new business
Able to work a flexible schedule as the work shift may vary (depending on busy and slow periods, this may fluctuate as early as 6:00 a.m. or as late as 6:00 p.m.)
Ability to travel and attend Trade Shows, sometimes held on a weekend (approximately 3 times per year)
