Job Description:

CourseHorse is seeking a hungry, talented sales professional to help us partner with thousands of educators across the country.

You'll go through rigorous training conducted by our CEO, and we'll rely on you to quickly master our existing sales email messaging and tools, pave the way to improve it, and constantly provide feedback to our team about what's working, what's not, and how we can make our service better every day.

Every week, you will:

  • Set up email marketing campaigns to local class providers, in order to drive awareness and interest in setting up a phone call with them
  • Respond to emails from class providers in order to ideally set up a phone call with our phone sales representatives
  • Follow up with the class providers who have 'gone cold', in an effort to keep them activated and moving forward in the process
  • Use our CRM system and inbox management systems to report out on the intricacies of the conversations, so that we know the best next step in every conversation
  • Be incredibly organized and on top of the details, so that we never lose track of any of hundreds of concurrent conversations
  • Proactively identify areas in the sales process for improvement and collaborate cross functionally to achieve them
  • Participate in sales meetings and articulate market feedback to the entire CourseHorse team
  • Learn an insane amount about every aspect of building a company

You will excel in this role if you have:

  • Extraordinary written communication skills
  • Incredible ability to self-organize and bring structure to unstructured work
  • Extraordinary hustle, disdain for failure and hunger/appreciation for feedback
  • A deep familiarity with CRM and email systems that help structure communications
  • Deep self-motivation and the ability to self-manage – a curiosity and independence that makes you seek out your own answers and try new things first
  • Strong emotional intelligence that enables you to read and react to other people's writing
  • Above all, a positive, can-do attitude and extraordinary hustle and tenacity
  • A bachelor's degree (highly preferred)
  • 0-5 years previous sales experience
