US Micro Products is seeking a Regional Sales Representative (RSR) to lead the sales efforts for the Upper Midwest and Northeast territory. This individual will be responsible for achieving and exceeding the revenue and profitability targets for the region.
The RSR will be expected to develop excellent customer relationships by assisting with product selection and addressing the ongoing needs of each customer throughout the product life cycle.
Responsibilities
- The Regional Sales Representative (RSR) will be responsible for the following: •
- Achieve and exceed sales goals for their assigned territory •
- Develop and maintain customer relationships and provide product solutions for customers
- Forecast business and opportunities and track customers and sales efforts
- Identify leads and actively contact potential customers
- Generate technical and business proposals and quote packages for customers
- Execute travel plans in assigned region to further advance customer relationships
- Act as a liaison between customers and suppliers
- Facilitate distribution channel sales and promote strong supplier relations
- Interface with suppliers in support of specific customer requests and proposals
- Provide point of contact for customer production issues
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
- Capacity to comprehend and relay highly technical information
- Excellent Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multitask and to manage multiple simultaneous projects in a diverse customer base
- Ability to think creatively about problem solving issues
Required Experience and Education
- A Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business, or another related field
- 5 or more years of field sales experience, preferably in the display industry
- Background in manufacturing
- Presentation and proposal creation experience
- Experience working with outside sales and customer service organizations
- The ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships with suppliers in the electronics industry
Preferred Skills or Experience
- Display knowledge
- Management experience
- Understanding of the distribution business model
- Handling of manufacturing quality processes and procedures
- Familiarity with developing strong customer relationships in a multiple state region
