This is a ground floor opportunity to be a part of our inside sales team that will be expanding into new and untouched markets from our Scottsdale office. The ideal candidate will have 0-2 years experience in sales and customer service, representing Opendoor as a reliable professional able to achieve balance between customer orientation and a results-driven approach.

We’re on a mission to make it simple to buy and sell homes. The traditional process is inefficient, with an average home taking over 90 days to sell and costing thousands of dollars. Opendoor makes buying and selling a home stress-free and instant. We’ve built an exceptional team, have raised over $300 million from top-notch investors and are growing fast, buying and selling more than $100 million of homes per month.

Due to the nature of our business, this role has a weekend schedule where days off would be during the weekdays. Compensation for the Account Manager role is a mixture of base salary and commission.

Responsibilities:

    • Directly responsible for prospecting to expand our customer base
    • Managing the sales cycle from lead qualification to handoff to Account Executive
    • Delivering a best-in-class experience for our customers
    • Remaining in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs
    • Keeping records of sales and data
    • Working closely with a world-class cross-functional team to rapidly build better process, tools, and metrics

Requirements:

    • 0-2 years of proven experience in another sales/customer service role
    • Energetic, fast learner, and highly coachable
    • Organized and detail-oriented
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Desire to grow foundational sales skills, to evolve within Opendoor
    • BS or BA in business administration, sales, or marketing
    • Openness to non-conventional hours (home shopping happens mornings, nights, and weekends)

    • Knowledge of CRM software
    • Real estate knowledge
