Responsibilities
- Design, implement, debug and optimize high performance DSP code
- Design and implement MIMO Tx and Rx architectures and algorithms, and map complex DSP algorithms and matrix math into efficient hardware design
- Simulate, implement, debug and optimize innovative algorithms in MIMO, transmit and receive beam-forming, channel estimation, equalization, interference cancellation, pre-coding, detection, etc.
- Work with RF and systems engineers to develop design requirements and interfaces
Requirements
- 5 years of DSP design experience in wireless communications industry
- Must have module, chip-level, and test-bench coding and verification skills
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience in defining and analyzing timing constraints, and performing static timing analysis.
- Knowledge of DSP and wireless communication
- Experience with coding and verification of DSP designs required
- Experience with embedded software and embedded processors
- Knowledge of protocol standards such as AXI, I2C, SPI, USB, PCI/PCIe
- Very detail oriented and thorough
- Motivated and willing to work hard to make a difference
Preferences
- Knowledge of LTE, DVB-T2 or DOCSIS
- FPGA design using Verilog
- FPGA implementation of complex DSP algorithms
