Job description

EndoSoft is seeking a Field Engineer in Southern California with experience implementing Electronic Health Records from workflow analysis through implementation, go-live, ongoing support and system upgrades and customization. The Field Engineer plays a key role in the project management and implementation of EndoSoft solutions. The Field Engineer will work with clinical staff and IT to determine ideal workflow using EndoSoft applications and seamless integration with other electronic health systems.

Responsibilities:

  • The Field Engineer is responsible for creating and implementing project plans for assigned customers from start to finish.
  • The Field Engineer maintains strong relationships with assigned customers before, during and after go live, communicating regularly to promptly resolve any requests and continuously streamline workflow.
  • Assist other EndoSoft teams with implementation and upgrade projects throughout the country and internationally, including end user training and project go lives.
  • Develop and implement customized training for clinical users, ensuring that all users are proficient in the operational use of system during implementation and after deployment.
  • Assist in ongoing internal staff training.
  • Help develop clinical content and workflow.
  • 40-50% travel.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field with relevant experience. Master's Degree preferred.
  • Must have strong technical aptitude for software applications, strong problem solving skills, and critical thinking to design and implement optimized workflow solutions.
  • Experience with electronic health records and procedure documentation implementation.
  • Candidate must be adept at working with and successfully training various stakeholders including clinical and technical.
  • Candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and have the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at one time.

Assets:

  • Prior experience with EHR training
  • Prior experience with EndoSoft or similar medical software applications
  • Prior working experience of HL7 and DICOM
  • Technical writing experience
