Job Summary

The Payroll Specialist assists with all responsibilities necessary to process weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll for all clientele through payroll calls, emails, faxes, and Internet. The Payroll Specialist will provide excellent customer services by developing excellent client relations and focus on quality and accuracy of payroll input. Overall, this role supports and is a key resource for the Client Services Manager. Preferred knowledge of SAAShr, or Workforce Ready, but not required. Experience in these previous companies also a plus, ADP, Ultimate Software, Inifinisource, Paylocity.

Duties:

  • Process client’s payroll via phone, email, fax, and Internet
  • Printing and packaging payroll
  • Provide support for client’s inquiries
  • Focus on the timely input of client’s payroll while maintaining quality and accuracy
  • Transmits ACH files and other benefits information to vendors
  • Support clients via email and phone
  • Focus on customer satisfaction
  • Implement clients to new payroll system
  • Scanning and filing documents
  • Assisting with general office administrative work
  • Other duties assigned

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of payroll processing and payroll taxes (a plus)
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Team player
  • Friendly and ‘can do’ attitude
  • Detailed oriented (must be accurate and efficient)
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent oral and written skills
  • Work well under deadline and pressure
  • Excellent customer service experience

Required Experience

  • AA/BA degree in Business or payroll/accounting
  • Minimum of a year in customer service environment
