ABOUT THIS JOB

Third Key - MAC Cosmetics at MAC Union Station (37.5 hours / week)

Washington, D.C. 

Store Hours 9AM to 9PM (Monday through Friday)

As a M.A.C Third Key you will be responsible for exceeding customer expectations by providing the best product solutions and delivering consistently great service. Your ability to develop the customer relationship, combined with confident makeup and artistry skills will be the secret to your sales success.

The Third Key partners with the store management to implement all corporate and store programs, practices and policies. You will work as part of a dedicated team and have the opportunity to collaborate and share ideas for delivering a fabulous M.A.C brand experience. You will work together to ensure effective and efficient operation of our busy retail counters.

Note: This role requires flexibility as it involves working a rotating roster.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service

Provide welcoming, personal, professional and consistent service to all Customers at all times

Demonstrate effective communication skills, the well-executed and expedient application of makeup to achieve the look the Customer desires

Resolve customer issues and requests in an efficient and quick manner

Inform customers of M·A·C consciousness programs and philosophies

Develop and utilize customer database for phone calls, product launches, events, and appointments in conjunction with the company’s customer program

Sales Performance

Meet your individual contribution to the team’s goal in terms of service, sales and company objectives

Managerial Support

Track retail sales against goal using the system provided

Assist in the planning, preparation, and execution of cost-effective special events to generate income

Assist in the preparation and completion of accurate physical inventory as requested

Follow and implement all corporate visual presentation standards and guidelines

Solicit and communicate product feedback from staff and customers to team leader

Assist in the flow of merchandise from stock areas to the selling floor in a timely and organized manner

Job-Related Skills

Cosmetic experience preferred

Excellent communication, leadership, organizational and time management skills

Job-Related Experience

1-2 Years Third Key experience preferred

Analytical / Interpretive Skills

Ability to assess customer/staff needs and make recommendations

Additional Requirements

Professional demeanor and ability to be flexible and handle change in a positive manner

Embrace the company’s brand and corporate philosophy

Ability to work 37.5 hours per week in a fast paced environment
