Job description

Your responsibilities are but not limited to hiring, leading, developing, and motivating program staff. Provide customer services and ensure contract renewal. Coordinate the sale and delivery of Catapult Learning Professional Development and/or Parent Involvement workshops to educators and parents within a specific assigned geographical or program area. Ensure customer satisfaction through program delivery, problem solving and frequent communication.

  • Intimately understand and implement the terms and conditions of all contracts and proposals for the programs.
  • Assure the programs meet required goals for client satisfaction, general quality and other specified goals.
  • Maintains a high level of customer service, resolving client concerns swiftly and appropriately.
  • Assist Regional Director in maintaining of program budgets.
  • Works with clients to ensure timely payments.
  • Overseeing and executing the on-boarding process of personnel.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages the performance and effectiveness of program to ensure that staff functions well and program goals are attained.
  • Partner with DOE Liaison and Sales to understand new program requirements.
  • Maintain open Communication with Sales Team to ensure Customer satisfaction.
  • Surfaces, customer service and program problems are communicated to the Regional Director.
  • Establishes a positive professional rapport with school staff, principals, and the school district.
  • Coordinate with PD Manager and Regional Director in the selection, training, evaluation, retention, and termination of staff.
  • Manage staff communication, compensation and payroll.
  • Preparing, editing and approving of calendar reports, agendas, activity logs, invoices and any additional documentation required for submission to the DOE.
  • Conduct Field observations on consultants and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive and Manage Consultants, Coaches and vendors' calendar and data to include scheduling of PD Coaching and workshops as requested.
  • Review and approve Consultants, Coaches and Vendors' documentation as required by customer.
  • Coordination of Events and Institutes as required by contract.
  • Managing event costs to align within budgets.
  • Ensures that staffs' physical facilities, instructional materials and/or equipment are appropriate.
  • Prepare, approve and Manage Invoices, Billing and collections.
  • Monitoring of monthly revenue projections and project budgets.
  • Prepare presentations for Team Meeting to address business issues as required by the RD.
  • Prepare end of year reports as required by customer.
  • Assist in other areas as needed due to increase in customer needs throughout the school year.
  • Travel will be required throughout the area as well as occasionally for outside client areas.


Qualifications:

  • Extensive working knowledge of effective pedagogical strategies in the area of literacy and math, including methods of differentiating instruction and fostering student engagement.
  • Possess an understanding of the Common Core State Standards, curricula, and assessments
  • 5 years successful experience designing and delivering Professional Development
  • Demonstrated understanding and implementation of adult learning principles
  • Organizational and planning skills for setting both short term and long range goals, and for coordinating efforts for timely accomplishment of those goals.
  • Knowledge of current trends, issues, and challenges of K-12 education
  • Willingness to continually learn new information and skills related to student learning and achievement
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of technology and instructional media tools
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and organizational skills. Must have the ability to communicate with all levels of management and with clients.
  • Excels in constantly changing environments and adapts flexibly in shifting priorities or objectives.
  • A passion and dedication for improving education through high quality professional development

Educational Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of effective teaching experience
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Education, Literacy, Math or related field
