Therefore, you know how to improve and implement lean production methods, including accurately preparing packaging documents, productions records, batch reports and other related cGMP documents.

Work Responsibilities

  • Responsible for employee performance management during scheduled shift.
  • Accomplishes results by communicating job expectations provided by Marlyn’s management and our cGMP Production Supervisor; monitoring, and appraising job results (coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures).
  • Improve quality results by: - Improving production output - Diagnosing root cause and implementing corrective actions - Reducing downtime occurrences and effectively eliminating them - Achieving targeted line efficiency - Developing ergonomic improvements - Supervising fair, consistent and holding operators accountable.
  • Complete production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Ensure operation of equipment by calling for repairs.
  • Provide manufacturing and packaging information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data.
  • Maintain quality cGMP standards and compliance with established SOPs and procedures.
  • Support sanitary and organized storage practices of consumable parts, machine tooling, and set-up tools.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, you will regularly be required to talk, hear, stand; walk; use of hands and fingers; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include excellent vision.

Required Education and Experience

  • Associate’s degree.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a production environment.
  • Previous cGMP production/packaging experience.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
