Installation Technician

Who we are: SWAT Environmental- We are a Radon Mitigation Company that installs radon mitigation systems in residential homes. SWAT Environmental has been in business for 26 years now, and are currently located in 35 states with its headquarters located in Lansing, Michigan. SWAT is also the nation’s largest radon mitigation company!

Field Technician Primary Responsibilities Includes:

• Install radon mitigation systems in residential homes
• Comply with all safety rules
• Basic drilling and piping
• Maintain a high standard of quality work
• Maintain inventory and cleanliness of warehouse and vehicle
• Oversee maintenance of company vehicle provided, including but not limited to, oil changes, brakes, and transmission maintenance
• Responsible for collecting payment from customer at time of installation or providing office with reason payment was unable to be received
• Responsible for submission of all required paperwork (customer payments, signed customer warranties, nightly close out materials, and time sheets)
• Oversee maintenance of company vehicle provided (including but not limited to, oil changes, brakes, and transmission maintenance)

Qualified Candidates Must Meet the Following Criteria

• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
• Willing to drive to various job sites including connecting states (travel required)
• Maintain excellent customer service and communication skills
• 1 year of general contracting experience
• 1 year of plumbing, electrical, or construction experience preferred
• Have the ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs daily
