Job description

Computer Technicians are required to troubleshoot laptop and desktop computers in a Depot environment. Reports to Depot Team Lead. Should be able to multitask, schedule oriented, and mechanically inclined to open laptops and desktops in a fast pace environment. The position requires strong communication, technical, and organizational skills.

Salary is commensurate with experience and skill set.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose laptops and desktops in a depot environment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose all models (Lenovo, HP, Dell, Acer, Asus, etc.)
  • Able to open systems without damaging systems in a fast pace environment
  • Understanding of computer components for better flow of troubleshooting
  • Assist with schedules of when laptops are supposed to be deliver to school systems
  • Make sure all troubleshooting steps and repairs are noted in ticketing systems
  • Other duties as assigned by Depot Team Lead

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in computer science or related field
  • A+ certification or pursuing A+ certification is a plus
  • Once A+ certification is acquired, the candidate will also be required to get Lenovo, Dell, and HP certifications field
  • 1 – 2 years experiences troubleshooting computers
  • 1 – 2 years experiences taking computers apart and putting it back in working condition
  • Must be organize and attention to detail
  • Needs to have reliable transportation
